Kunchan

Biography:

Kunchan was born on November 14, 1952, in Fort Kochi as Mohan Das, the second of Krishnan and Oolamma’s five children. Along with a sister, he has three brothers. He completed his elementary schooling at T. D. High School in Mattancherry, Kochi.

On April 28, 1985, Kunchan and Shoba were married. She is the owner of the “Live In Style” beauty salon in Kochi. Swetha and Swathi are the couple’s two daughters.

Indian actor Mohan Das, better known by his stage name Kunchan, was born on November 14, 1952, and focuses mostly on Malayalam movies. He has acted in more than 650 Malayalam films. He typically plays supporting parts. He has performed significant character roles as well. His career began when black-and-white Malayalam films were produced.

His first film, Rest House, was released in 1970. His first film, Manaivi (1969), was in Tamil and was never released. His most remembered roles were in films like Ivar (1980), Nayakan (1985), Avanazhi (1986), Carnivel (1989) Aye Auto (1990), Kottayam Kunjachan (1990), and Lelam (1997). He just completed Manmadhan Ambu, starring Kamal Haasan.
