American actress Keri Lynn Russell was born on March 23, 1976. She has been heavily involved in dramatic television since the 1990s, and she has been nominated for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series eight times. In addition to being nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards and four more Golden Globes for her roles in The Americans and The Diplomat, she won a Golden Globe in 1999 for her starring role in the drama series Felicity. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017 in recognition of her contributions to television.
At the age of 15, she made her debut on the Disney Channel relaunch of The Mickey Mouse Club. From 1991 until 1994, she was a regular cast member. In the 1992 film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, she made her screen debut. We Were Soldiers (2002), Waitress (2007), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) are among Russell’s additional movie roles. She made her Broadway debut in the Lanford Wilson revival Burn This (2019) after performing in Neil LaBute’s off-Broadway production Fat Pig (2004–2005).
