Kavita Srinivasan is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. Her most well-known work is the 2016 Nepali web sitcom P.S. Zindagi.
Growing up, Srinivasan lived in USA, Zambia, India, and Papua New Guinea. She studied Biochemistry from Brandeis University and got her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She participates in theater and productions as well.
Srinivasan has acted in South Indian films and made her Hindi film debut with Kurbaan in 2009. In 2013, she made her Telugu film debut in Kalicharan, and in 2014, she made her Tamil debut in Adiyum Andamum.
A 2011 documentary titled “In Search of God” included Srinivasan as well. It tells the story of an American woman who visits a mysterious Indian island and uses art as a way to communicate with God. The voyage is truly transforming.
In the web sitcom P.S. Zindagi, of which she is the creator, writer, and producer, Srinivasan made her stage debut in Nepal. She appears opposite Sujata Koirala, who portrays her sister Kokab Akhtar, in the part of Juna Akhtar.
