Biography:

Karmveer Choudhary, also known as Karamveer Chaudhary, is a notable Indian actor and motivational speaker recognized for his contributions to Hindi cinema and Indian television. He hails from Jhunjhunu District and began his career in Rajasthani Cinema, featuring as the antagonist in over 20 regional films.

His breakthrough in the mainstream came with the 2016 movie “Sultan,” where he portrayed a government sports officer. Additionally, he gained prominence for playing Aamir Khan’s father in the movie “Dangal.”

In the realm of television, Choudhary’s performances in various shows have been well-received. Notably, he portrayed the character of Kailash Singh Ahlawat (Lucky’s Tau Ji) in the TV series “Badho Bahu,” which aired on & TV from 2016 to 2018.

Before pursuing acting, Karmveer Choudhary contested as a Samajwadi Party candidate in the 2003 elections from the Mavli constituency in Udaipur.

Besides his acting career, he has appeared in TV commercials for brands like Kurkure, Symphony cooler, Pepsi, and IDFC Bank. He received recognition for his portrayal of antagonistic roles in various films and was honored with the Best Villain award at the Jaipur Film Festival in 2014.

Some of his other notable works include appearances in “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi” as Khatri and “Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?” as Hemraj, both on Indian television in 2016-2017 and 2017 respectively. He also featured in movies like “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” alongside Katrina Kaif (2011), “Waarrior Savitri” as Pandit Ji (2016), and “Gauraiya” as the main antagonist (2015).
