Rising star Karan Deol is a member of the famous Deol family. Despite growing up under Sunny Deol’s shadow, he is unaffected by it. He has faith that eventually his unique style will come through in his work. He has spoken out about being bullied at school and how he overcame it, even though he is a private guy.
Acting has always piqued Deol’s curiosity. Following his academic pursuits, he participated in an acting program at London’s Ealing Film Studios and has also attended a couple acting school classes at Rahul Rawail’s. His first job in Bollywood was assisting Sunny Deol as director of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013). He debuted as an actor in the love drama Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which is set in the highlands, in 2019.
