Jyoti Chetia was born in Assam, India and attended the University of Dibrugarh graduating with a B.Com and Diploma in film.
Since 2008 he has worked in film sound design. Jyoti has been fortunate to work with such directors as Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Anurag Basu, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, SS Rajamouli, Matthew Leutwyler and Ron Scalpello.
