Joshua McGuire

Biography:

McGuire was raised in the Warwickshire town of Warwick after his birth in 1987. After attending Warwick School, a private day and boarding school for boys in his hometown, McGuire attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Bloomsbury, Central London, where he earned a BA (Hons) in Acting. McGuire participated in Shakespearean performances and small radio dramas before graduating from Playbox Theater Company. He initially gained recognition [from whom?] while still a drama student. for playing Guy Bellingfield, a student in the Oxford University “Riot Club”—a spoof of the Bullingdon Club—in Laura Wade’s satirical drama Posh, which debuted.

McGuire appeared as a guest on several BBC programs. In the comedy series The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff, a parody of Charles Dickens’ novels, he also played Stephen Fry’s helper. In the movie About Time, directed by Richard Curtis, McGuire portrayed Rory. McGuire portrayed Nunney in the BBC drama Love, Nina in May 2016.
