Australian actor Josh Lawson is most known for his parts as Kano in the 2021 movie Mortal Kombat, Dr. Bruce Schweitz in St. Denis Medical, and Doug Guggenheim in House of Lies. Lawson attended Gregory Terrace’s St. Joseph’s College after growing up in Brisbane. In 2001, he received his degree from the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Additionally, he studied improvisational skills in Los Angeles for a year at I.O. West, The Second City, The Groundlings, and ACME Comedy Theatre. Ben Lawson, an actor, is his elder brother. Lawson received a Mike Walsh Fellowship in 2003.
