Biography:

Polish actress, dancer, and aerialist Joanna Ashka has gained international recognition in the Indian entertainment sector. She is also known for her recurring role as Lily in the internationally acclaimed Netflix series The Great Indian Kapil Show, where she collaborates with India’s best comedians to display her quick comedic timing and on-screen presence.

Joanna recently made her big-screen debut in Tanvi The Great (2025), a musical drama helmed by the renowned Anupam Kher. Under the guidance of Rishabh Mittal, she received extensive training at ActingSutra to hone her skills for the Indian screen. She learned a variety of acting techniques that enable her to move fluidly between character-driven comedy and high-stakes drama.

Joanna is an extremely talented physical performer, a trained aerialist, and a flexible dancer who is excellent in Bollywood, belly dance, and heels. She is a unique “action-ready” foreign actress in the Mumbai circuit because of her physical strength and basic training in Martial Arts (Kung Fu).
