Biography:
Charlie Chaplin created his first pictures in Niles, California, where Jesse Jensen was raised. He has three sisters and is Jeff and Kathy Jensen’s son. Jesse saw an excessive amount of movies while growing up without the influence of television, which cemented his passion in acting. He studied the films of Sean Penn, Pacino, and Brando as a teenager. Jesse relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 to study cinema at Loyola Marymount University. He became interested in theater throughout college and was well-known for his interpretation of Hamlet. He started working as an actor after earning an early degree with honors. In addition to a noteworthy supporting role in the independent film Wasted, he was cast in television shows including CSI and Cold Case.
Ambitious and restless, Jesse founded the Front Porch Players, a theater group that presented plays on his Venice Beach porch. In addition, he was a founder member of the infamous Bagavagabonds, an art gang located in Los Angeles. He married actress Amanda Vitiello as soon as she agreed to marry him after meeting her at the Long Beach Playhouse in 2006. Jesse wrote a novella, an original play, and several popular short films between 2000 and 2010. Jesse was one of seven performers nationwide who received a full scholarship to the esteemed Old Globe MFA program at the University of San Diego in 2010.
