Huzefa Lokhandwala

Biography:

In the Indian film industry, Huzefa Lokhandwala is a very skilled editor who began his career as a visual effects artist. He is Prime Focus’s Creative Director of Advertising and a co-founder. Huzefa has collaborated with nearly all Indian advertising agencies and filmmakers.

He is well renowned and receives a lot of acclaim for his excellent job. The well-known film “Delhi Belly,” which he edited, brought him the 2012 Colors Screen and Film Festival Award for Best Editing. For him, editing Delhi Belly was much like playing a puzzle game.

It’s difficult, but it takes the shape of a puzzle game, he claims. It was more enjoyable than that difficulty. In addition, he has been recognized with a D&AD Book of Awards entry, an Asia Image Apollo Award, and seven Abby Awards. He worked in the animation department of the Jestination Unknown television series, which debuted in 2019.

He provided special effects for the “Momentary” project in 2002. The films “Na Tum Jano Na Hum” and “Heyy Babyy,” which came out in 2002 and 2007, respectively, had him working in the editorial department.

He contributed to the visual effects of several movies, including Road, Om Jai Jagdish, Mr. Ya Miss, Taxi No. 9211, and Bhoot. He has edited films such as Blackmail, Raabta, Hanuman, Shameless, Doobie, and many more, in addition to Delhi Belly.
