Guy Ferland

Biography:

Director Guy Ferland is an American who was born on February 18, 1966. Ferland attended the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema and Television to study cinema production after being inspired to pursue a career in filmmaking by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1946 film Notorious. He graduated in 1988  and was given an internship at Creative Artists Agency as a researcher.  Three days after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, he was hired as Joel Schumacher’s assistant. From 1994 onward, he collaborated with Schumacher on films such as Cousins, Flatliners, If Looks Could Kill, Dying Young, Falling Down, and The Client, earning an associate producer credit for the latter part.
