Govinde Gowda is an emerging Indian film Actor born on the 1st of January 1970, in Davanger District of Karnataka, India. He has been a part of the Kannada movie industry since 1994. The actor grabbed the eyes of the audience when he showcased his talent of playing comedy roles in one of his most popular Kannada TV shows, Comedy Khiladigalu (1994). Since then, he has been seen playing various other comedic and supporting roles in several movies in Kannada cinema. Besides comedy roles, Govinde also tried his hands at suspense thrillers like Shathaya Gathaya (2018) and Parasanga (2018), proving his ability to take and nail diverse roles.
His most famous roles include “Shivu” of Ambuja (2022)—a psychological horror-thriller; “Govinda” of Akshi (2021)—a socially responsible film that won the 67th National Award for its best portrayal of eye donation; and “Guide” of Onthara Bannagalu (2018)—an emotional journey of 5 characters. Furthermore, Govinde is also best known for Premam Poojyam (2021), K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022). His most recent film to hit the theaters was K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022). Talking about his married life, the actor met his wife Divyashree on one of his first reality shows, Comedy Khiladigalu (also mentioned earlier), as a contestant. Their friendship soon blossomed into love, and they made it official by tying the knot in Sringeri in 2019. They recently shared the news of being blessed with a baby girl.
