Dhilin Mehta is a producer of Indian films. His role at Ashtavinayak Cine Vision was that of chief executive officer. In 2002, he developed the DD1 series Aamrapali. He guided Ashtavinayak to larger budgets and blockbusters after beginning his career with low-budget movies like Fun2shh and Agnipankh. In January 2013, just hours before he planned to catch a trip to Dubai, Mehta was detained by the Rajasthan Police at the international airport in Mumbai, since Ashtavinayak had been banned from trading in 2012. That following day, he was released on bail.
