Gujarati-born actor Dheer Hira has lived in Mumbai for the most of his life, where he has cultivated a growing interest in acting through school plays, college short films, and a year of training at the Mumbai Drama School in 2015–16.
Since then, Dheer has worked with theater groups such as Patchworks Ensemble, Fats The Arts, The Company theatrical, and Afsana Theatre. He co-directed and performed in Sibylle Berg’s Hindi theatrical production of “Dog Woman Man,” which debuted at the 2022 Prithvi Festival.
As an actor, Dheer has a love for the camera and the theater. His next projects include “Ziddi Girls” (Amazon Prime) by Shonali Bose and “Jigra” (Film) by Vasan Bala.
