Danish Sait (born 1 July 1988) is an Indian comedian, television host, and actor predominantly known for his work in Kannada cinema.
He began his career as a radio jockey with Fever 104 FM in 2013, where he gained popularity for his prank calls and humorous portrayals of fictional characters like Asgar, Chacko, Nagesh, and Nagraj. Danish is also an accomplished stand-up comedian and a member of The Improv, a well-known Bengaluru-based comedy group. His hosting credits include several major sports events, such as the Pro Kabaddi League and the 2015 Cricket World Cup, before fronting the reality show Neevu Bhale Khiladi on Star Suvarna.
Danish made his film debut in 2018 with Humble Politician Nograj, where he co-wrote the script with director Saad Khan and played the lead role. The film was well-received, with critics praising his consistent ability to engage audiences and his authentic portrayal of the titular character. In 2020, he appeared in the Hindi web series Afsos and starred in the Kannada film French Biriyani, reprising his popular radio character Asgar. His role as an auto driver in the latter film earned wide appreciation. He later starred alongside Rakshit Shetty in the critically acclaimed film 777 Charlie.
In addition to his film and television career, Danish is associated with the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore as an anchor and mascot. He is renowned for playing “Mr. Nags” on the popular RCB Insider Show.
Danish comes from a prominent family; his sister, Kubbra Sait, is an actress, and his uncle, Tanveer Sait, is a politician. His grandfather, Azeez Sait, was a former minister in Karnataka. Danish married Anya Rangaswamy, a graphic designer.
