Actor Daniel Ings was born in the United Kingdom in 1985. He played Luke Curran in the 2014–2018 season of Lovesick, a comedy series on Channel 4 and Netflix. Ings starred in the romantic comedy Lovesick (2014–2018) on Netflix as Luke, the playboy best friend. He portrayed John in Sky 1’s comedy The Café (2011), Jake in the Channel 4 comedy Pete vs Life, and Kelvin in the BBC comedy-drama Psychoville.
He portrayed Commander Mike Parker in the Netflix series The Crown (2016–2017) and the dishonest “Director of Output” Matt Taverner in the BBC2 mockumentary W1A (2014–2015) in 2014. He started in 2018 as the husband of the main character played by Alan Cumming on the drama television series Instinct (2018–2019) on CBS.
