Biography:

American actress Hannah Dakota Fanning was born on February 23, 1994. Both as a young actor and as an adult, Fanning is well-known for her parts in popular films and indie productions. Among her honours are two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Golden Globe. At the age of seven, Fanning was recognised for her role in the drama film I Am Sam (2001). She became the youngest candidate in SAG history when she was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. After that, she acted in the films Uptown Girls (2003), Man on Fire (2004), War of the Worlds (2005), Charlotte’s Web (2006), and The Secret Life of Bees (2008), as well as the miniseries Taken (2002). With the independent films The Runaways (2010), The Twilight Saga (2009–2012), and Night Moves (2013), she made the move to more mature parts.

Fanning has starred in films including The Equaliser 3 (2023), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), and Ocean’s 8 (2018). She has acted in television shows since 2018, including The Perfect Couple (2024), The Alienist (2018), and The First Lady (2022). In addition, she starred in The Watchers (2024) and won fresh praise from critics for the miniseries Ripley that same year. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie as well as a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film.
