D.R.K. Kiran

Biography:

Actor and art director D. R. K. Kiran is Indian, mostly employed in Tamil cinema. In the early 1990s, he began working as an assistant art director, contributing to movies such as Seeman, Kuruthipunal, Nerukku Ner, Alaipayudhey, etc. By 1998, he was working independently as an art director, contributing to films such as Ooty, Aaha Kalyanam, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Kavan, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Mayakkam Enna, 3, Ko, Irandam Ulagam, Anegan, Podaa Podi, and Cynade [Kannada].

Has experience working with television networks, including Zee Television in Kannada, Asianet Television in Kerala, Maa Television in Andhra Pradesh, Vijay Television, Sun Television, and Jaya Television in Tamil Nadu. He has worked on more than 2000 TV spots for national, local, and international brands. In addition to these, he has experience with event and interior design.

He has directed art as well as starred in supporting and villainous parts in motion pictures. He made his TV debut in 2023–April as a competitor on Star Vijay’s Cooku With Comali Season 4. Throughout the duration of the show, he also serves as the art director for the sets.
