Christopher Lennertz (born January 2, 1972) is an American composer and songwriter known for his work in film, television, and video games. He has scored projects such as Supernatural, Revolution, and The Boys, all created by Eric Kripke. His film credits include Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hop, Horrible Bosses, and Think Like a Man, while his video game work includes the Medal of Honor series.
Lennertz studied at the Thornton School of Music at USC under Elmer Bernstein and was mentored by Basil Poledouris and Michael Kamen. He has collaborated with notable filmmakers like Tim Hill, Seth Gordon, and Tyler Perry and contributed to projects such as Agent Carter, Lost in Space, and Gen V.
His work has earned him industry recognition, including an Emmy nomination for Supernatural and awards for his Medal of Honor: Rising Sun score. Additionally, he won a Grammy for his collaboration with Ozomatli on Street Signs.
