Charles Vinoth

Biography:

Charles Vinoth is an Indian actor recognized for his appearances in Tamil-language films, often in supporting roles.

In his professional journey, Vinoth pursued a shipping career after completing his education but eventually found himself losing interest in that field. This prompted him to venture into the vibrant Chennai theatre scene, collaborating notably with the production company Dr. Shoe Maker. Transitioning to the film industry, Vinoth gained significant traction when he secured roles in back-to-back films directed by Pa. Ranjith.

His portrayal as an antagonist in “Madras” (2014) garnered him a nomination for the Vijay Award for Best Villain. Notably, he also shared the screen with Rajinikanth in “Kabali” (2016). Beyond his collaborations with Ranjith, Vinoth assumed negative character roles in movies like “Massu Engira Masilamani” (2015) and “Yeidhavan” (2017).
