Bhagyashree Patwardhan, also known as Bhagyashree, is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Hindi film industry. She was born on February 23, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Bhagyashree gained widespread recognition and achieved stardom with her debut film “Maine Pyar Kiya” in 1989.

Bhagyashree made her acting debut opposite Salman Khan in the blockbuster film “Maine Pyar Kiya,” directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The film was a huge success and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. Bhagyashree’s performance as Suman in the film earned her critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Despite the success of her debut film, Bhagyashree chose to take a break from acting after getting married. She made occasional appearances in films and television over the years. Some of her notable films include “Qaid Main Hai Bulbul,” “Tyagi,” and “Paayal.”
