In his storytelling career, Chelladurai began captivating audiences by reciting books aloud in Tiruvannamalai, initially drawing a crowd of 60 people. Over time, his storytelling sessions gained immense popularity, attracting as many as 500 eager listeners. His son, Vamsi, played a pivotal role in promoting his storytelling talents by uploading videos of his performances on YouTube, which garnered a positive response from viewers. Additionally, Chelladurai organized an essay contest in Coimbatore and its surrounding districts, showcasing his commitment to fostering literary talent and encouraging aspiring writers.
