Balu Varghese

Biography:

Balu Varghese is an Indian actor and vocalist predominantly active in the Malayalam cinema sphere. His journey in the industry commenced as a child artist in the film Chanthupottu (2005). Born in Kochi to E. J. Varghese and Neena Varghese, he also boasts familial connections to renowned figures in the Malayalam entertainment scene, including actor Lal and music director Alex Paul. Balu Varghese tied the knot with Aileena Catherin Amon on February 2, 2020, and they welcomed their son, Ezekiel Amy Varghese, into the world on March 31, 2021.

Hailing from Eranakulam, Balu Varghese has essayed both lead and supporting roles in his career. His debut as a child artist in Chanthupottu paved the way for his prominent role in Honey Bee, Lal Jr.’s directorial debut. Subsequently, he has been part of several notable projects, including Oru Second Class Yathra (2015), Namasthe Bali (2015), Money Ratnam (2014), Hi I’m Tony (2014), and Happy Journey (2013), among others. Balu’s forthcoming endeavors include Three in One, Honey Bee 2, Inspector Davood Ibrahim, Third World Boys, and Aana Mayil Ottakam.
