Biography:

B. Suresha is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer who works in Kannada movies. He is renowned for helming the motion pictures Puttakkana Highway (2011) and Artha (2003).

B. Suresha made his acting debut in Ghatashraddha (1977) as a young actor. He then collaborated with Shankar Nag as an assistant director on a number of projects, including Malgudi Days (1986) and Accident (1985). As a screenwriter, he was well known for his work with Ravichandran in 1993. Additionally, he directed television serials, including Hosa Hejje (1991), Sadhane on Doordarshan, and Naaku Thanthi. After directing Tapori for the first time, he moved on to work on a number of movies, including Puttakkana Highway (2011). He made a comeback to acting with Slum Bala in 2008.

His 2016 movie Devara Naadalli was inspired by a piece published in the Times of India. He declared the opening of Rangoli, a brand-new entertainment channel, in the same year. Uppina Kagada, a film about a little girl’s search for her father, was released in 2017. He has acted in the films Ananthu vs. Nusrath (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018). In addition to movies, he is a book author.

He had previously collaborated with Shylaja Nag on the play Macbeth in 1988. He married her in 1992. They are in charge of Media House, a production studio. The studio has made a number of motion pictures, including Sakkare (2013), Yajamana (2019), and Naanu Nanna Kanasu (2010).
