Ashiq Usman is an Indian film producer and actor primarily active in Malayalam cinema. He began his career as a child artist in Malayalam films and later ventured into production. In 2012, he founded Ashiq Usman Productions, with his debut as a producer being Arikil Oraal, featuring Indrajith Sukumaran, Remya Nambeesan, and Nivin Pauly. Ashiq is also known for producing the blockbuster film Anjaam Pathiraa, starring Kunchacko Boban. Currently, he is working on a Hindi remake of Anjaam Pathiraa in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment. His latest release is Thallumaala, directed by Khalid Rahman and starring Tovino Thomas.
Born on April 17, 1986, in Ernakulam, India, Ashiq completed his secondary education at Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School, followed by senior secondary studies at Sacred Heart, Thevara. He later graduated from CUSAT. In 2014, he married Khadeeja Ashraf, and the couple has two children.
