Arulnithi Tamilarasu, born on July 21, 1987, is an acclaimed Indian actor, best known for his lead role in the movie “Vamsam,” directed by Pandiraj.
Arulnithi comes from a prominent political family; his grandfather is M. Karunanidhi, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and his father is M. K. Tamilarasu, the brother of M. K. Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He received his education at St. Michael’s Academy in Chennai and pursued a degree at Loyola College. Arulnithi furthered his qualifications at Pondicherry University. He married Keerthana on June 7, 2015, and they have two children, a son born in 2017 and a daughter born in November 2021.
Arulnithi’s acting career took off when he was offered the lead role in Pandiraj’s “Vamsam” after his cousin Udhayanidhi Stalin stepped aside. The film, showcasing him as a young man avoiding village politics, received positive reviews and was a box office success. His subsequent films include “Udhayan,” “Mouna Guru,” “Thagaraaru,” “Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum,” and “Demonte Colony,” with the latter being a commercial hit.
