Biography:

Aruldev, a music director hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is best known for his work in Tamil cinema. Born in Madurai, he comes from a musical background, with his father being an accordion player and an orchestra organizer. Aruldev started his career as a keyboard player under the guidance of Vidyasagar.

His debut in the industry came with the 2010 film “Potta Potti (Patta Patti 50-50).” He later collaborated with director Halitha Shameem on “Poovarasam Pee Pee,” released in May 2014. The album received positive reviews, with Behindwoods describing it as “sweetly adventurous in its music,” and Chennai Times giving it a rating of 3.5/5, stating that Aruldev provided a variety of tunes while maintaining the film’s theme. MilliBlog also praised Aruldev, saying he had finally made his mark in the industry.

“Poovarasam Pee Pee” was well-received by critics upon its release on May 30, 2014, with BehindWoods.com giving it a rating of 3/5 and singling out Aruldev’s music for praise. The film’s songs were particularly acclaimed, with FoundPix rating them highly and highlighting Aruldev’s background score. The movie was even selected for the Chennai International Film Festival in 2014.

Aruldev’s collaboration with Kannada director Pon Kumaran on the Tamil film “Golmaal” marked another milestone in his career. For this project, he brought in Mangli, a renowned Telugu folk singer, for her Kollywood debut. Additionally, Aruldev ventured into Telugu cinema by composing music for the movie “Malli Pelli.”
