Archana Chandhoke

Biography:

Archana Chandhoke, also known as just Archana, is an Indian actress, radio host, and television presenter who was born on July 2, 1982. She has primarily worked in the Tamil film and television industries. While attending college, Chandhoke started working as a newsreader for Jaya TV’s English News in September 1999. She then hosted Ilamai Pudhumai and Comedy Time on Sun TV. In May 2007, she left Sun TV to concentrate on her responsibilities to her family. After a one-year break, she rejoined Star Vijay in 2008 and hosted Namma Veetu Kalyanam until 2014. In September 2015, Zed Tamil asked her to appear in the drama Athirshta Lakshmi.

Archana was a wildcard contestant on Bigg Boss in 2020. Her actions on the show drew condemnation from viewers. Kadhale Kadhale, Old is Gold Black and White, Parivattam, Namma veetu kalyanam Snehan and Kanikka Special, Singappene, Namma veetu thiruvizha, Samsaram athu Minsaram, Sabash Sariyana Potti, Pattikada Pattanama, Thai illamal Naanillai, and Udanpirappe are just a few of the reality shows and special episodes she is hosting after her time on the show. She returned to Zed Tamil in 2022 to host Super Mom season 3, the most watched program. Together with her daughter Zaara Vineet, she is hosting this program.
