Anshitha Akbarsha, also known as Anshida, is an Indian actress born on 28 August 1997, who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil television. She made her acting debut in 2019 with the Malayalam series Kabani. Anshitha is widely recognized for her portrayal of Soorya Kaimal in the popular TV series Koodevide. In 2024, she gained further attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss 8.
Her television journey began with the Malayalam serial Kabani, which aired on Zee Keralam, where she played the role of Rambha. In 2021, she starred as the lead character Soorya Kaimal in the serial Koodevide, broadcast on Asianet, which earned her widespread acclaim. Expanding her career to Tamil television, Anshitha debuted in 2022 with the serial Chellamma on Star Vijay, taking on another lead role and receiving praise for her performance.
In 2024, Anshitha participated as a “Comali” in the fifth season of the comedy cooking show Cooku with Comali on Star Vijay. Later that year, she joined the reality show Bigg Boss 8 as a contestant. Her journey on the show lasted 84 days, where she was eventually evicted in 11th place.
