English actress Anna Maureen Barth Shaffer was born on March 15, 1992. Her appearances as Ruby Button in the E4 soap drama Hollyoaks (2011–2018) and Romilda Vane in the Harry Potter films (2009–2011) helped her become well-known. In the 2019 Netflix version of The Witcher, she portrays Triss Merigold. Shaffer was born in North London [citation needed] to South African parents. Her mother is of Zulu descent and grew up on a Black Zulu farm in South Africa, while her father is a Jewish South African of Sephardic and African ancestry. When Shaffer was a baby, his father moved them to Israel for a year before his wife, Anna’s grandmother, forced them back to South Africa.
