Since then, she has acted in a supporting capacity in Kalki 2898 AD (2024), the highest-grossing Telugu science fiction movie.
Anna grew up in Kochi, Kerala, where she was born. She is the daughter of Fulja and Benny P. Nayarambalam, a screenwriter. She finished her education at Vaduthala’s Chinmaya Vidyalaya. She graduated from St. Teresa’s College in Kochi with a degree in fashion and clothing design.
In 2019, Anna made her feature film debut as the lead character Baby in the critically and commercially successful Kumbalangi Nights. After four rounds of auditions, she was chosen. She characterized her role as “rooted, with her own point-of-view, modern and traditional simultaneously.
She stood out even in the presence of seasoned performers,” the Hindu remarked. The popularity of the movie opened the door for Helen a survival drama in which she portrayed the title character, and Kappela, which was well-received by both reviewers and viewers. Manorama Online stated that “Anna Ben makes Kappela a delightful journey” regarding the latter, while director Sathyan Anthikad commended her performance in the former.
