Biography:

Ankit Shah is a versatile Indian television actor, composer, and production designer with an extensive career in both Hindi movies and TV shows in North India. Born on December 27th, he has been in the limelight since childhood, starting as a child artist. Ankit Shah boasts an impressive resume with over 55 TV shows to his name, and he has also taken on roles as a supervising producer for various projects.

His performances in TV series like “Shaurya Aur Suhani” (2009), “Chandragupta Maurya” (2011), “Ek Veer Ki Ardaas: Veera” (2012), and “Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par” (2013) earned him significant recognition and appreciation. In addition to acting, Ankit Shah has a talent for composition, as evidenced by his work on the short film “The Last Audition,” released in 2014.

In the world of production design, he took on the role of supervising production designer for the TV movie “Tujhse Hee Raabta” in 2015. Ankit Shah embarked on his television acting journey in 2003 and has continued to grace the small screen with his presence to this day. His most recent TV serial is titled “Home,” in which he portrays the character of Pawan Gehi, released in 2018.

Among his various TV serials, notable roles include “Chandragupta Maurya” (2011) as Younger Shashank, “Ek Veer Ki Adaas: Veera” (2012) as Dalbeer, and “Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par – Zindagi” (2016) as Nandan, along with “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil” (2016) as Shaurya Mekra, among others.

Ankit Shah’s journey in the TV industry has had its challenges. Notably, during his time on the TV show “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil,” he faced an unexpected hurdle when tasked with a horse-riding scene on the first day of shooting.

Despite his limited experience as a horse rider, he attempted the scene but lost control of the horse, resulting in a fall and a fractured arm. While the production company promised to cover his medical expenses, they replaced him without prior notice. Consequently, Ankit Shah filed a complaint with CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes’ Association) seeking compensation for his replacement.
