Indian actor and author Vineet Kumar Singh was born on August 28, 1978, and is well-known for his powerful performance in Mukkabaaz (2018) as ambitious boxer Shravan Kumar Singh. Vineet, who holds an M.D. in Ayurveda from Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur, started acting in the film Pitaah (2002) when he was just 21 years old.
Following a few early career appearances, such as in the 2010 movie City of Gold, he gained recognition for his parts in Gangs of Wasseypur and Bombay Talkies. He received praise for his performance in Ugly and for playing Milan Shukla in the movie Daas Dev. In the 2018 Anurag Kashyap film Mukkabaaz, he made his acting debut and took home two accolades.
Vineet Kumar Singh was born on August 28, 1978, into a Rajput family in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He played basketball at the national level and had a keen interest in sports. A mathematician is his father. Vineet aspired to attend the National School of Drama, but social conventions and parental pressure prevented him from doing so.
