Shweta Tripathi Sharma, born on July 6, 1985, is an Indian actress renowned for her portrayal of the character Golu Gupta in the popular series Mirzapur. Her journey in the entertainment industry began as a production assistant and associate director before she gained widespread recognition and commendation for her performances in Hindi films and web series. Born in New Delhi, Shweta’s father served in the Indian Administrative Service, while her mother was a retired teacher. The family’s constant relocations due to her father’s profession led her to spend her childhood in both the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her fondest memories are from her time in Andaman, where she discovered her love for travel and the outdoors.
