Shaheer Sheikh

Biography:

Indian actor Shaheer Nawaz Sheikh was born on March 26, 1984, and he primarily performs on Hindi television. regarded as one of India’s highest-paid TV actors, Sheikh has won two Gold Awards, an Indian Telly Award, and an ITA Award, among other honours.

Sheikh debuted as an actor in Sanya in 2005. After playing Veer Mehra in Kya Mast Hai Life (2009–2010) and a few supporting roles, he made his debut in Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal (2011–2012), in which he played Anant Bajpai. He won the ITA Award for GR8! Performer of the Year for his performance. Sheikh became well-known after playing Arjuna in the 2013–2014 film Mahabharat, for which he won multiple nominations and garnered a great deal of praise.

Following his breakthrough with Mahabharat, Sheikh took a hiatus from Indian television and debuted on Indonesian television in 2015 with Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal. He also starred in a number of television shows and films. Sheikh became a well-known television actor after playing Abir Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke (2019–2020) and Devrath Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (2016–2017). In the web series Pavitra Rishta- It’s Never Too Late (2021), he played Manav Deshmukh. In Woh Toh Hai Albelaa (2022–2023), he played Krishna Chaudhary. Sheikh made his Hindi film debut in Do Patti (2024). Sheikh has two children with creative producer Ruchikaa Kapoor, with whom he is married.
