Rakendu Mouli Vennelakanti is an Indian lyricist, actor, singer, and dialogue writer who works in Telugu films. He is the son of Telugu lyricist Vennelakanti.
With the 2015 film Moodu Mukkallo Cheppalante, in which he portrayed the lead, Mouli made his acting debut. He portrayed Naga Chaitanya’s pal in Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo in 2016. Both My Dear Marthandam (2018) and Kirrak Party, a Telugu version of the Kannada film Kirik Party, featured him in minor roles. He made his Tamil film debut in 2019, as Dhanush’s friend in Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
With Andala Rakshasi, he made his Telugu lyrical debut, and the song “Manasu Palike” brought him recognition. Four of the five tracks in Meeku Maathrame Cheptha (2019) use his lyrics.
His father, Vennelakanti, is a lyricist and his brother Shashank Vennelakanti is a dialogue writer.
