Preethi Asrani, born on September 7, 1999, is an Indian actress prominent in the Telugu and Tamil film and television industries. Notably, she took on the lead role in the Tamil soap opera “Minnale” aired on Sun TV. Her debut as a lead actress came with “Pressure Cooker” in 2020, and she gained critical acclaim for her role in the well-received “Ayothi” (2023).

Hailing from Gujarat, Asrani belongs to the Sindhi community. Seeking a career in cinema, she relocated to Hyderabad. In 2020, she was pursuing her education at St. Ann’s College for Women in Hyderabad. Her cousin, Anju Asrani, is also an actress, contributing to the family’s connection with the entertainment industry.

Embarking on her acting journey at the age of sixteen, Asrani made her debut in the short film “Fidaa,” portraying a blind girl. Subsequently, she entered the television arena with “Pakkinti Ammayi.” Her film debut came with “Malli Raava” (2017), where she played the younger version of the main actress, paving the way for more film offers.
