Pragya Nagra

Biography:

Indian actress Pragya Nagra was born on December 14, 1998, and is well-known for her roles in Malayalam and Tamil movies. She debuted in the Malayalam film Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna (2023) and the Tamil film Varalaru Mukkiya (2022).

Pragya Nagr  was born into a Punjabi family. Before beginning her modeling career, she finished her education and college in Delhi. Nagra visited Chennai frequently because her father was in the Indian military and was stationed there for a while.

She became interested in modeling while studying engineering in Delhi, and she later appeared in more than 100 advertisements.  Nagra wanted to join the military and was a member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) while she was a student. She eventually went to Chennai, nevertheless, after deciding to pursue a career in the film industry.

In 2022, Pragya Nagra starred opposite Jiiva as a Malayali girl in the Tamil movie Varalaru Mukkiyam. Despite the film’s unfavorable reviews from critics and viewers alike, the industry recognized Nagra’s acting abilities, and she is currently in Tollywood, however she may eventually appear in Bollywood films as well.

She plays the part of a Kannada girl in the socio-political drama Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna, a Malayalam film. Nagra was a model and a commercial actress before she became an actress. Her repeated trips to Chennai stoked her enthusiasm for acting, and she ultimately made the decision to pursue a career in movies.
