Nikhil Nair

Biography:

Nikhil Nair is a musician and actor from India. Although he is from Kerala, he was born and reared in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has mostly worked in the Malayalam and Tamil cinema industry. Nikhil is the son of Jyothi and Sajith Nair, both architects.

Nikhil has a long history in the film industry. He is the grand nephew of producer and actor K. Balaje and the nephew of Malayalam actor Mohanlal and producer Suresh Balaje of Wide-Angle Creations. Nikhil’s producer grandfather, T. Balagopal, introduced him to the world of film. He is cousins with Pranav Mohanlal.

Nikhil received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hindustan University, but he has always had a fascination for movies. Under the direction of Indian actor and acting instructor S.S. Kalai Raani, Nikhil has finished a great deal of training. She has educated and collaborated with a number of well-known artists.

He competes in Taekwondo at the state level and plays volleyball at the state level. He is also a fan of callisthenics and has trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kalaripayattu. Regarding music, he plays the guitar. Sarvam Thaala Mayam, which was directed by Mr. Rajiv Menon, was Nikhil’s debut feature. He later portrayed characters in Naradan and Hridayam.

In the Sony Liv Web series Meme Boys, he co-starred with Guru Somasundaram as the main antagonist. After thereafter, Nikhil played a crucial part in the Oru Kodai Murder Mystery web serial on Zed5. He has created advertisements for companies including Edureka, Peps mattress, Bumble, and KP Namboodris toothpaste.
