Biography:

Lakshman Karya is an Indian film industry director who primarily works in the Telugu film business. He is from one of India’s southern states. Along with being a writer, he has also held positions as an assistant director or second unit. His credits include the films Happy Wedding and Autonagar Surya. Together with producer M. Sumanth Raju, he created the screenplay and directed the movie “Lakshman Karya.”

S. Thaman provided the film’s background music, and Shakthikanth Karthick wrote the songs. Sumanth Ashwin played Anand, Niharika Konidela played Akshara, Murali Sharma played Akshara’s father, Naresh played Anand’s father, Pavitra Lokesh played Anand’s mother, Tulasi played Akshara’s mother, Indraja played Neeraja, Pujita Ponnada played Laveena, Raja Chembolu played Vijay, and Annapoorna played Anand’s grandmother.

It was an adaptation of the 2015 Marathi film “Mumbai – Pune – Mumbai 2.” Sumanth and Niharika played the main parts. Bal Reddy handled the cinematography, and Krishna Reddy handled the editing. It belonged to the romance category and was shown in Indian theaters on July 25, 2018, by Pocket Cinema and UV Creations, two production organizations. Critics and viewers had differing opinions on it.

But it failed at the box office because it was unable to acquire any traction. As a result, he was unable to profit from it, and it negatively impacted his filmmaking career. He collaborated as an assistant director on the film “Autonagar Surya” alongside producer K. Achi Reddy, writer Deva Katta, and director Vikram. He had the chance to collaborate with numerous other celebs on this movie, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Master Bharath, Sai Kumar, and Naga Chaitanya.

Anoop Rubens, the music director, composed the music, Gautham Raju edited the footage, and Srikanth Naroj handled the cinematography. It was launched into Indian theaters on June 27, 2014, under the auspices of Max India Productions, and it fit under the category of social dramas, which are highly well-liked by the Indian populace. Although the audience’s reaction was mediocre, it can still be seen as a stronger beginning for his filmmaking career. His role as assistant director on this film allowed him to experiment with and hone his directorial abilities.
