Biography:

Kubbra Sait, an Indian actress, TV host, and model, has appeared in various films including “Sultan,” “Ready,” and “City Of Life.” However, she rose to prominence for her portrayal of Kukoo in the first season of the Netflix original series “Sacred Games.” Additionally, she played Phara Keaen in the Apple TV+ show “Foundation.”

Born in Bangalore to Zakariah Sait and Yasmin Sait, Kubbra Sait hails from diverse backgrounds, with her mother from Mysore and father from Ooty. Her younger brother, Danish Sait, is a well-known radio jockey and television host, while her uncle, Tanveer Sait, is involved in politics. Her grandfather, Azeez Sait, served as a minister in Karnataka. After graduating from the National Institute of Information & Management Sciences, Bangalore, in 2005, she relocated to Dubai. Sait began her journey in show hosting at the young age of thirteen and later worked as an accounts manager with Microsoft in Dubai before venturing into the entertainment industry. Her talents were recognized when she received the India’s Best Female Emcee Award in 2013 and won the Miss Personality title at the Miss India Worldwide Beauty Pageant in 2009.

Sait garnered acclaim for her portrayal of Kukoo, a transgender woman, in “Sacred Games,” which earned the Netflix original series a nomination in the Best Drama category at the 47th International Emmy Awards. She proudly represented “Sacred Games” at the Emmy Awards ceremony held on November 25, 2019.
