In Telugu cinema, K.K. Radhamohan is an Indian film producer. He started making films in 2009 through his production firm, Sri Sathya Sai Arts.
In 2007, Priyadarshan Ram approached the Radhamohan through a mutual friend to collaborate on the production of the debut film ‘Toss,’ which marked the first full-length digital movie in the Telugu film industry. Despite initial skepticism about digital filmmaking, it later gained traction, transforming the industry entirely. The speaker, involved as a co-producer, invested six months into the project.
Balancing time and finances, the speaker’s involvement in the film industry impacted their earnings from their regular job. They established the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and produced films like ‘Adhinetha’ with director Samudra, ‘Yemaindi Ee Vela,’ and ‘50% Love,’ which was a mix of reshot and original footage from a Malayalam film.
After encountering challenges, the speaker received a call from Sampath Nandi regarding a film script favored by Ravi Teja titled ‘Bengal Tiger.’ Despite competing with other potential producers, the speaker secured Ravi Teja’s involvement and produced the film at a significant cost, which proved successful.
Continuing their journey, the speaker produced films like ‘Meelo Evaru Kotiswarudu,’ ‘Pantham,’ and ‘Orey Bujjiga.’ ‘Orey Bujjiga’ starring Raj Tharun faced unexpected challenges due to the lockdown, leading to its release on the Aha OTT platform, where it garnered recognition for its contribution to the platform’s success.
