Harman Baweja

Biography:

Harman Baweja is an Indian actor and producer known for his roles in films such as Love Story 2050 (2008), What’s Your Raashee? (2009), Victory (2009), Dishkiyaoon (2014), It’s My Life (2020), and the Netflix drama series Scoop (2023). Baweja was credited as a producer for Hansal Mehta’s Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?.

He made his Bollywood debut with the sci-fi romance Love Story 2050, produced by his mother Pammi Baweja and directed by his father Harry Baweja. The film, however, was a box office failure. In 2009, he starred in the sports film Victory, which centered around cricket and featured appearances by both Indian and international cricketers. Despite the notable cameos, the film only grossed ₹1.9 crore and was unsuccessful at the box office.

Baweja’s next project was the romantic comedy What’s Your Raashee?, in which he starred alongside Priyanka Chopra, who played 12 different characters. The film received mixed reviews and performed poorly at the box office. After a five-year hiatus, he returned with Dishkiyaoon in 2014. His film It’s My Life, which faced delays, was eventually released directly on television, premiering on Zee Cinema ten years after its production. In the Netflix original series Scoop, Baweja played the role of JCP Harshavardhan Shroff.

Born on 13 November 1980 to film director Harry Baweja and producer Pammi Baweja, Harman attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai and later studied at the University of California, Los Angeles.
