Story:

Kaptaan is a Hindi crime-drama thriller series that premiered on April 3, 2026, with all eight episodes currently streaming for free on Amazon MX Player. Directed by Jatin Wagle and produced by Baweja Studios, the series stars Saqib Saleem in the lead role, alongside Siddharth Nigam, Kavita Kaushik, and Varun Badola. Set in the fictional city of Jwalabad, the series presents a dark and intense narrative that combines crime, politics, corruption, and personal conflict.

The story revolves around SSP Samardeep, widely known as “Kaptaan,” a fearless encounter specialist celebrated for his ruthless methods and uncompromising attitude toward criminals. As gang violence, political manipulation, and organized crime begin to spread across Jwalabad, Samardeep becomes trapped in a dangerous battle for control of the city. While he is viewed as a hero by the public, his aggressive style of justice slowly begins to blur the line between law enforcement and vengeance.

The central conflict intensifies with the rise of Kabir, a former admirer whose growing resentment transforms him into Samardeep’s greatest rival.
