Gopinath

Biography:

Currently featured on the STAR Vijay debate show Neeya Naana, Gopinath Chandran is an Indian television anchor, radio jockey, journalist, reporter, news presenter/moderator, writer, and entrepreneur. The common name for him is “Neeya Naana Gopinath.”

Gopinath was born in 1975 to Chandran and Kumudham Chandran in Aranthangi, Pudukkottai district, Tamil Nadu. Gopinath started his career in 1997 with Raj Television Network after leaving United Television. He completed reporting jobs with CNBC TV-18, NDTV, and Jaya TV. Later, he started working for Vijay TV as the anchor of the political analysis show Makkal Yaar Pakkam. He began working with Neeya Naana in 2006. He has served as an anchor for shows on television, including En Desam, Makkal Yaar Pakkam, Sigaram thotta Manidargal, and Nadanthadhu enna.

He presented Radio City’s breakfast broadcasts while working as a radio jockey (RJ).

Over five books have been written by him. Theruvellam Devathaigal, a collection of poems, was the first and was released in 2007. Based on personality development, the second book, Please indha Puthagathai vaangatheenga, is still at the top of the charts and has sold over 4 lakh copies to date. The third was a book named Neeyum Naanum, which was self-analyzing and self-motivating. Interviews collected in one book, Ner Ner Thema, is Gopinath’s fourth book. The new novel “Nimirnthu Nil” was released in 2015 after first appearing in Tamil Weekly Nakkeeran. He states that PASSWORD is his favorite work out of all of them.
