Biography:

Daksha Nagarkar is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Telugu cinema. She began her acting career in 2014 with “AK Rao PK Rao” and went on to feature in movies like “Hora Hori,” “Husharu,” and “Zombie Reddy.”

Daksha Nagarkar was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to a Rajput mother and a Maratha father. She spent her childhood in various places, including Panchgani, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi, due to her mother’s work in the cosmetic industry. Initially, Nagarkar had ambitions of becoming a cardiologist, as her family had a background in medicine. However, she eventually decided to pursue a career in modeling and acting.

In her debut film, “Hora Hori” (2015), directed by Teja, she received praise for her on-screen presence and potential, according to a review by Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu. During the film’s production, she couldn’t attend her first-year final exams, which resulted in a failure. Consequently, she took a hiatus from acting to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Three years later, she made a comeback in the film “Husharu” (2018), where a reviewer from 123telugu.com noted her natural and effective performance.

In 2021, she portrayed a young gamer in “Zombie Reddy,” earning positive comments on her effective performance, according to a critic from The Hindu and Firstpost’s Hemanth Kumar, who mentioned her standout moments in the action sequences. In 2022, Daksha Nagarkar featured in a dance number, “Entha Sakkagundiro,” in the movie “Bangarraju,” alongside Naga Chaitanya. Later that year, she signed up for a role in the Ravi Teja-starrer “Ravanasura.”
