Indian actor Bhuvan Arora performs in Hindi movies and television shows. He has made appearances in two television shows: Farzi (2023) and The Test Case (2018), the latter of which served as his breakthrough performance.
After attending the Film and Television Institute of India, Arora started his acting career with minor parts in the movies Naam Shabana (2017), Tevar (2015), and Shuddh Desi Romance (2013). His performance in the Yash Raj Films-produced previous film paved the way for him to play a bigger part in the comedy Bank Chor (2017). Then, in the 2018 television series The Test Case, he portrayed the chauvinistic army candidate Rohan Rathore. Firstpost’s Gayatri Gauri observed that he “essays his role well without becoming a caricature”.
Arora co-starred with Shahid Kapoor in the crime drama series Farzi on Amazon Prime Video in 2023. His “impressive” “comic timing and dialogue delivery” was noted by News18’s Dishya Sharma. His was the “breakout performance” of the series, according to Nidhima Taneja of ThePrint, who also noted that “the finesse in his performance, and his spot on Mumbaiya dialect, is a treat to watch”. Arora’s next role will be in the sports movie Chandu Champion, costarring Kartik Aaryan.
