Annu Kapoor, whose full name is Anil Kapoor, is an Indian film actor, television presenter, and radio jockey. He was born on February 20, 1956, in Itwara, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Annu Kapoor started his career in the entertainment industry as a theater artist and radio jockey. He worked for All India Radio and hosted the popular show “Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor,” where he presented Bollywood songs and trivia. His distinctive voice and engaging style made him a household name among radio listeners.

In 1983, Annu Kapoor made his film debut with the critically acclaimed movie “Mandi,” directed by Shyam Benegal. He gained recognition for his supporting role in the film and went on to work in various Hindi films in the following years.
