Ali Fazal is an Indian actor who was born on October 15, 1986[1]. Before making an appearance in the American television miniseries Bollywood Hero (2009), he made his cinematic debut in a minor part in the English-language movie The Other End of the Line (2008). He debuted in a supporting part in the 2009 Hindi film 3 Idiots before moving on to appear in Always Kabhi Kabhi, Baat Ban Gayi, and Bobby Jasoos.
His appearances in the comedy Fukrey (2013), Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), and Fukrey Returns (2017) brought him further fame, and he ventured into foreign film with tiny roles in Furious 7 (2015) and Victoria & Abdul (2017) as Abdul Karim.
Ali Fazal was raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, after being born in Delhi’s Sir Gangaram Hospital. He attended the International Indian School, Dammam, for a very little time. Additionally, he attended La Martiniere College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, before transferring to The Doon School, an all-boys residential school in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He started performing at Doon and took part in several Founder’s Day plays. He is credited as having “found his calling” when he portrayed Trinculo, the jester in William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Fazal moved to Mumbai after Doon to pursue his economics degree at St. Xavier’s College.
Fazal was listed as the “Most Desirable Man” in 2014 by The Times of India. At the 2019 BFJA (Bollywood Film Journalist’s Awards), Power Brands presented Fazal with the “Power Brand: Industry Trendsetter” award. In Lucknow, on June 17, 2020, Fazal’s mother passed away as a result of medical issues. On April 24, 2021, a grandpa of Ali Fazal passed away.
Richa Chadha and Fazal had been engaged to be married, but the COVID-19 epidemic prevented that from happening. He and Chadha announced their forthcoming nuptials on September 23, 2022, adding that the wedding will be environmentally friendly. They were wed in a ceremony in Lucknow on October 4, 2022.
